As the HR Associate, you will support the overall employee experience and the elements that influence it, ultimately enabling growth and business success. We are looking for a team player to work as part of the global people ops team.
This role has a broad spectrum of responsibilities geared towards coordinating engaging opportunities for our Jump employees. You will provide a white glove approach to employee experience, contribute to team and location-wide events, work across various departments to support communication, provide on the ground HR support, assist leadership with administrative needs, and so much more.

What You'll Do:
- Provide a positive first impression for new hires or internal transfers by guiding the employees with Workday enrollment instructions, benefit details and guidance on company policies and navigating the local landscape.
- Serving as main point of contact for employees for HR queries regarding benefits, HRIS tasks, leave requests & travel/immigration.
- Keep abreast of employment law and current legislation in relation to HR (including training compliance) and partner with the legal team to update policies and procedures ensuring compliance.
- Ensure positive employee experience in the workplace by partnering with the serviced office management company, collecting feedback on office services, benefits, and providing to appropriate parties.
- Ensuring a positive experience for domestic & international visitors by coordinating on travel arrangements, greeting them on arrival and assisting them with visa requirements.
- Partner with internal groups and managers to provide opportunities for domestic and international visitors to connect with local employees and have a productive trip to the office/city.
- General office maintenance and day-to-day facility operations; including identifying vendors for supplies, managing stock and coordinating food deliveries for the office.
- Partner with other members of the Workplace Services team on reception and conference room coordination; greeting of guests; general office maintenance and day-to-day facility operations.
- Planning and coordination of employee events and experiences both on and offsite.
- Assist with budget tracking, expense/invoice processing and contributing to cost savings/ awareness where applicable.
- Act with integrity, transparency, and confidentiality while providing support to other teams within the People Operations function as needed.

Skills You’ll Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- At least 3-5 years in an HR generalist capacity, office manager, workplace services or relevant role.
- Previous work experience in financial services, technology, and/or fintech industry.
- Strong vendor management experience to negotiate pricing of events and execute on accurate event management details.
- Being vocal about process improvement, volunteering for more tasks, and identifying proactive ways to add value in other parts of the firm.
- Proven track record to source their own workload/project focus and socialize its value to add to the rest of the team.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Important to prioritize relationship building, so you have others to lean in on for ad hoc judgement calls and general collaboration.
- Experience or interest in operational areas of HR such as immigration, benefits, payroll and mobility to be cross trained with other colleagues.
- Strong desire to be present in-office daily to act as a connector and partner to the business.
- Experience with managing and thriving in ambiguity by dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, and other systems such as Confluence and JIRA a plus.
