This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support to the organisation. Responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Preparing reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and absence management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee enquiries, concerns, and conflicts, providing guidance and resolutions.
  • Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee relations issues promptly and effectively.
  • Supporting Investigation Managers with investigations, ensuring due process and policy is being followed.  Support and facilitate disciplinary processes as necessary, ensuring fair  and consistent outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters, including managing the probation periods of employees; coaching, feedback, and personal development plans.
  • Role modelling the Company’s DNA and help drive a high-performance culture by promoting employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Partnering with an area of the business for all employee relations related matters. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks as needed. Ensuring all Right to Work obligations are adhered to; new starter audits at the end of each week.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and recommend improvements to HR processes and practices.
  • Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues – liaising with HR Lead and Operations management as required. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR-related information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters.  You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake.  You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager.
  • Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the HR Lead where necessary.
  • Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
  • Championing key Company strategies; initiatives – eg: Colleague Happiness Surveys; Diverse & Inclusive working; Colleague Wellbeing.
  • Any other responsibilities/duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role.
