🍋 This is how you’ll change the way people eat foreverFor our exciting team in the HelloFresh head office in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Ingredients Intern from March 2024 for 5 - 6 months. You willbe working with the Ingredient Specialists who are responsible for the entire process of new and existing ingredients: from ideation to testing and tracking performance. Preferably you have a good tasting palette, if not, you will after the internship! This is a unique opportunity to learn and gain experience in a growing business that is leading the way in the food industry.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

  • Test/taste potential new and improved ingredients
  • Support the onboarding process of new and improved ingredients 
  • Swap new ingredients in recipes to test them
  • Recook recipes to see if the new ingredients work well in our recipes
  • Track the performance of new and existing ingredients
  • Support preparation of bigger tasting sessions (Globally oriented)
  • Get the chance to work on your own internship project within HelloFresh (topic TBD).

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

  • You are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a relevant HBO/WO program (food technology, consumer studies, product development, dietetics - experience in sensoric tasting)
  • Enthusiasm for the quality and performance of ingredients and a strong motivation for HelloFresh are key!
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English
  • You have a customer-focused mindset and are keen to make HelloFresh customers happier than ever
  • You love food and are familiar with new products and ingredients that appear in your local supermarket
  • You are the type of person that checks food packaging to see what ingredients each product contains, where the product comes from and who manufactured it
  • You are organized and able to document and keep track of your work
  • You are comfortable in high paced environments and can handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • You are proactive and independent, finding your way around a task, but don’t worry, we will give you the needed help and support throughout
  • Finally, you are a great communicator (NL/EN), as you will be liaising various different teams and potentially external stakeholders.
