Your role and your team:

You will be part of an innovative team of Logistics Specialists and Operators and you will interact with a variety of colleagues and departments - most of which will be production related.

As an Intern in our Logistics team, you will have the opportunity to help shape logistics processes for series production as well as contribute and establish your own ideas. Furthermore, you will get an insight of the daily logistics operations and be part of continuous improvement activities.

Your Day to Day:

• Take ownership of the weekly KPI monitoring and derive improvement actions
• Support the daily logistics operations in the inbound, picking and outbound area and identify process improvements
• Coordinate and prioritize the problem solving stream to ensure part availability for production
• Contribute to ongoing projects in the area of Inbound, Picking, Supply as well as Outbound by performing research, analysis and active stakeholder management
• Identify applicable technologies in the area of Logistics 4.0
• Drive problem solving and provide sustainable solutions

Your Profile:

We are looking for someone who is currently studying in the field of Supply Chain, Logistics or similar and ideally with some practical experience in the industry through an internship or part time work for example. 

You will work independently and apply a hands-on mentality, taking the initiative when faced with a problem and being confident to handle complexity,  Our Intern must be willing to suggest optimization ideas and be motivated to put these ideas into reality

Skilled in MS Office and an ERP / WMS System are important. We require a fluent English speaker and good German language skills

This is a 6-month long, full time internship based on-site in Wessling.
