The Team:

Product Launch Management is a strategic team within the global product operations organization that manages the product launch process for strategic releases and the phase-out of existing products from an end-to-end Celonis perspective.

The Product Launch Manager acts as a trusted advisor and business partner to Product Management while working truly cross-functionally with all internal departments, including Go-to-market, Celonis Services, Engineering, Marketing and communications, Legal, InfoSec, Data protection, Enablement, Partner Management, Customer Value Org, Finance, Operations and many more.

The Role:

The main objective of Product Launch Management Intern is to ensure that all relevant resources, assets, processes, tools, and enablements have been prepared and legal, InfoSec, data privacy, and other applicable requirements have been fulfilled before launching a new product. Furthermore, the department owns and maintains the global feature request management process to ensure Product and Engineering listen and take action on the voice of the customer (VoC). This includes funneling, assessing, and tracking requests - from submission to implementation to closure. This way, the department has a full 360° view of all incoming requests, and all outgoing tactical and strategic launches.  

The Intern in Product Launch Management will support the Product Launch Managers in their daily business with a focus on providing general project management support for product launches (60%) and the Feature Request Management Process (40%) The ideal candidate has a track record in the management of projects ideally in a software company. 

The work you’ll do:

  • Support Product Launch Manager in the preparations of the weekly feature request assessment calls
  • Sync with the go-to-market and product contacts to collect missing information related to feature requests
  • Maintain the communication between internal requesters of new features and the product and engineering department
  • Collaborate in the continuous improvement of the end-to-end feature request process and its reporting to the Executive Leadership
  • Support product launch managers to deliver product launches across the current and forthcoming portfolio of products
  • Support product launch managers with the execution of the launch process
  • Support the Product Launch Managers with improving and maintaining the Product Launch

The qualifications you need:

  • Experience in working in a global team (virtual and multi-location)
  • Program or Project Management experience
  • Experience in running (smaller) projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Ideally experience with Salesforce, Jira, and Google Suite (Google slides/ sheets/ docs)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory: English, optional: German)
