Internship - International Expansion Legal Intern (x/f/m) - January 2026

Your missionsIn collaboration with the lawyer in charge of international expansion, you will directly contribute to the launch of Doctolib and our e-health services for patients and healthcare professionals in new countries. You will help build Doctolib’s market entry strategy across several new geographies and support its execution in partnership with cross-functional teams, especially Business and Product. You will handle novel, complex, and varied legal matters in a highly operational context, working alongside around forty lawyers from other specialties.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Doctolib’s roll-out in new countries and the launch of its services in new jurisdictions.
- Analyze local requirements (in particular, healthcare law, data protection, digital law), anticipate and assess new legal risks associated with a new market, and develop recommendations and compliance plans.
- Support and advise internal teams driving international expansion projects—particularly Strategy, Product, and the company’s Executive team—from the initial country-opening proposal through to operationalization.
- Build the appropriate legal framework for entering a new market, balancing commercial objectives with a robust compliance and risk management approach.
- Implement the legal localization of Doctolib’s activities (for example, drafting contractual documentation or supporting marketing efforts).
- Collaborate with foreign legal counsel and liaise with local regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to building our reference documentation to guide the legal support of internationalization projects.

You could be the next member of our team if:
- You have a Master’s degree (M2) in law covering both French and English law (ideally with part of your studies completed at in.
- You have training in digital law and personal data protection (mandatory).
- You have initial experience (law firm or in-house) in France or the UK.
- You communicate clearly in both spoken and written English and French.
