We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented Inventory Manager to manage an exciting and high-performing team on our Nuneaton site.  A role that will challenge you but also enable you to make a difference to the site's stock accuracy, waste reduction and wider business. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage a large team of colleagues who will work across 4 shift patterns and  ensure that inventory  KPIs are met and that effectively coordinate the service and support functions so that operations runs smoothly
  • Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of ingredients and packaging materials, ensuring proper labelling, handling, and storage practices are followed
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyse usage patterns, and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses
  • Optimise inventory turnover and minimise waste by implementing strategies such as first-in-first-out (FIFO) rotation and efficient space utilisation.
  • Monitor product shelf life and coordinate with the production team to ensure proper usage of ingredients within the specified timelines
  • Liaise and communicate with the supply chain team and directly with suppliers to drive internal operational improvements
  • Seek to continually improve processes and identify areas of potential weaknesses

Who You Are:

  • Experience with working in a supply chain management environment
  • Experience in an FMCG environment
  • Experience with working with external suppliers and managing internal stakeholders
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, WMS)

Location: The Beehive, Bermuda Industrial Estate, 1 St Georges Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7JS 

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, weekend working if/when required
