IT Hardware Asset Management - Support Engineer
Who we are:
The IT Asset Management team is responsible for governance of the hardware in India and Europe. Activities include maintenance of the IT asset inventory within the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with external processes and teams to include IT Procurement, IT Finance, Vendor Management in the collection of critical attributes supporting the effective and timely management of IT assets through their lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to; hardware sourcing, cost optimization initiatives, process efficiency implementations, internal audit reporting.
What You’ll Do:
- Help the team meet or surpass established KPI goals (SLA, end-user survey, hardware metrics, NPS, etc.) for task completion.
- Communicate effectively with end-users and co-workers across multiple platforms and mediums (email, instant messaging, phone, ticket updates, and in-person).
- Utilize critical problem-solving skills to prioritize work and pivot on daily tasks.
- Implement creative solutions to deliver better service
- Team Player, willing to share knowledge and pitch in wherever needed
- Multi-tasking, Prioritization, and Time Management
- Technical Aptitude – capable of handling a multitude of technical issues
- Ability to pivot and act in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication - Ability to accurately convey an issue
What You'll Need:
- Basic knowledge - ITIL knowledge
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Experience with CMDB, JAMF, and Intune.
- Experience in Excel
