IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Aurora, IL  (Chicago IL)

IT Infrastructure ManagerYou will be an essential part of our IT Infrastructure team supporting our US fulfillment centers network infrastructure.  Whether you're responding to incidents, installing networks in new locations or pro-actively working to build a better platform, you will be responsible for providing core IT network services to support our dynamic growth. Helping other teams or departments may be required as business needs change. 

*  Work with infrastructure team in pursuing a unified enterprise network environment across all Hello fresh locations*  Travel to facility locations to install, maintain and upgrade infrastructure related hardware/software*  Manage projects and external vendors to ensure on-time and on-budget project goals*  Maintains change management processes and procedures*  Provide excellent customer service, effective response times, and expert insights into general and sometimes complex support issues.*  Provide on-site and remote resolution of common hardware/software computing issues.*  Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes managed by the Enterprise IT Infrastructure team, for both end-users and            other IT staff.*  Participate in after business hour support for critical incident escalations*  Perform incident root cause analysis and remediation of system outages*  Maintain documentation regarding network diagram, configurations, operating procedures and service records

*  Associate to Senior level experience in the configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and support of network equipment, including wireless access         points and firewalls.*  Proficient with Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto equipment.*  Skilled in supporting multi-site environments, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.*  Ability to work early mornings and/or late nights to execute critical network changes.*  Works well in a fast-paced environment and adept at managing tight timelines for deliverables.*  Able to handle physical demands of the role, including working in various environmental conditions such as cold or hot temperatures, elevated areas,       or crawl spaces within a warehouse setting.*  Comfortable with sitting, standing, or crawling for extended periods.

*  A minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise network installation and systems management.*  Demonstrated experience with firewall (Firepower, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, Fortinet) configurations, particularly with multiple WANs and redundant IPSEC tunnels.*  Proficiency in Wireless LAN design, including conducting site troubleshooting tools and methodologies.*  Experience in managing and optimizing SD-WAN environments.*  VMware administration experience is an advantage, though not a mandatory requirement.*  Current network certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are preferred but not mandatory.*  Ability to design and implement network security measures and best practices.*  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.*  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to document network configurations and changes.*  Participation in primary and secondary on-call rotations is required to support the business.*  Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, with the assurance of being home on weekends.*  Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.*  Experience with IP routing and switching in complex enterprise environments.*  Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including confined spaces and on elevated platforms; operation of boom/scissor lifts required after         company-provided training.

Preferred but not required:

Experience with low voltage cabling (LVC).Knowledge of structured cabling systems and fiber optics.Proficiency in Python scripting or other programming languages for network automation and management.
