We are looking for a Junior Customer Service Consultant - France for our Customer Service team in the heart of buzzing Berlin! 

Babbel is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that not only prides itself on providing excellent language learning products, but also great customer service!

Due to the demands of our growing customer base from all over the world, we are currently looking for a customer service consultant as a maternity leave replacement.

If you are a French speaker and also have strong verbal & written skills in English and/or German, as well as excellent customer service skills and experience, we’d like to hear from you! Please include a cover letter in your application.

This is a part-time job (30 hours/week) and the contract will be limited to 12 months.

 

You will:

  • Answer incoming customer questions and requests through all supported channels (email, contact form, phone, chat, social media, app store reviews, etc.)
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by solving issues quickly and competently
  • Maintain a high level of expertise by attending trainings and courses as required
  • Identify and report technical problems, usability flaws and customer requirements
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving our provision of customer service

You have:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication in French and English and/or German, with any other language as a plus
  • Experience in handling customer requests via multiple channels (email, chat, phone, social media)
  • Solid problem-solving skills – the ability to get to the root of a problem and provide a speedy solution to the customer
  • The enthusiasm and ideas to participate in projects improving the customer experience
  • A team player attitude with affinity for communicating with customers and coworkers from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Ability to learn and understand the needs of the customer quickly, as well as good comprehension skills
  • Ability to work comfortably with large amounts of quickly-updated information 
  • Familiarity with common internet programs, PC/Mac and mobile devices
