About the role: What’s in the Box
As a Junior Expedition Employee, you will be part of our Expedition Team and play a hands-on role in ensuring that products arrive at and leave our warehouse accurately, safely, and on time. You will work closely with operational teams, drivers, and suppliers to keep daily logistics running smoothly, especially during busy and time-critical moments. Your work directly impacts production, planning, and ultimately the experience of our customers.
This role requires flexibility, as deliveries take place across different times of the day, including evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for both desk-based coordination and on-the-floor operations, owning inbound and outbound flows.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Coordinate and process incoming goods to ensure correct and timely handling.
- Support stock management activities using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Work together with operations, drivers, and suppliers to resolve daily logistical challenges.
- Contribute to the rollout and improvement of new systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to inventory and shipments.
- Help safeguard a safe, organized, and efficient working environment for the expedition and inbound teams.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on logistics environment and stay accurate under pressure.
- You are proactive, take initiative, and like to solve problems independently.
- You are comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel) and basic digital systems.
- You communicate clearly and confidently in both English and Dutch, verbally and in writing, and are comfortable speaking with suppliers and internal stakeholders by phone and in person.
- You have an affinity with logistics or warehouse operations.
- You are comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment of around 4°C.
- You are flexible and open to working evenings and weekends when needed.
- Minimum MBO-4 work and thinking level.
