Role Summary
The Insurance Program Lead will oversee the management and administration of Payoneer’s global insurance programs, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Cyber, Professional Indemnity (PI), Crime, Property & Casualty (P&C) and Alternative Risk Products. This role will also manage local insurance policies across subsidiaries and collaborate closely with brokers and advisors to optimize coverage, manage risk, and align insurance strategies with the company’s broader financial and operational goals.
This position plays a critical role in supporting Payoneer’s capital resilience model, M&A due diligence and integration, and additional strategies, ensuring insurance-related risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed. The Insurance Program Lead will work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, regional entities and Departments to support risk transfer strategies and operational resilience.
What you’ll do:
- Insurance Program Administration: Manage the lifecycle of insurance policies, including oversee the placement, renewal, and administration of D&O, E&O, Cyber, PI, Crime, P&C, and Alternative Risk Products in coordination with brokers and advisors.
- Subsidiary & Local Policies: Ensure subsidiaries maintain adequate and compliant coverage, aligning local policies with corporate risk strategy.
- Broker & Advisor Management: Act as the primary liaison with brokers, insurers, and external advisors to optimize coverage and manage claims.
- Operations & Policy Management: Maintain and continuously improve all insurance documentation, policy records, claims history, and certificates of insurance.
- Capital Model Integration: Provide data and documentation to support assessments of insurance costs and risk retention strategies on the capital resilience model.
- Strategic Risk Management: Support the alignment of insurance policies with company risk objectives
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Conduct insurance due diligence for M&A transactions, ensuring seamless integration of acquired entities into Payoneer’s operating environment.
- Risk Transfer & Alternative Solutions: Support the evaluation of alternative risk financing structures and captive solutions where appropriate.
- Claims Management: Oversee and facilitate insurance claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring efficient resolution in collaboration with Legal and Risk teams.
- Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Ensure insurance programs align with applicable regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Support the broader Enterprise Risk & Operational Resilience team with various tasks as well as internal and external stakeholders
Who you are:
- BS degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in insurance, risk management, brokerage, or underwriting, preferably within fintech, payments, or financial services
- Familiarity with D&O, E&O, Cyber, PI, Crime, P&C and Alternative Risk Products
- Experience supporting or assisting with global insurance programs
- Familiarity with capital models, financial risk management, and leasing structures – nice to have
- Exposure to M&A insurance due diligence and integration
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and analyzing data Ability to review and understand insurance contracts Willingness to learn insurance claims handling and risk transfer mechanisms
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create basic reports and presentations
- Professional certifications (preferred): ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), or RIMS-CRMP are a plus but not required

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. The annual base salary range for this position is: $90,000-$125,000
