The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

As Lead Partnerships (d/f/m) in our Partnerships Team, you drive a key part of Personio’s growth strategy and with your team are responsible for developing our portfolio of partners and for building a strong joint customer base. You also drive the development of new joint business models with partners, e.g. a reselling motion. The role holds an exciting mix of commercial results and business development skills needed.

Reporting to the Director Partnerships, you will have a broad remit and the unique opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, accelerating Personio’s growth via our numerous partnerships channels.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • You lead a team of partner managers with a focus on developing commercial partnerships and strengthening the joint customer base with our partners 

  • You drive the development of commercial business models with partners incl. the reselling of partner services/solutions

  • You collaborate closely with a number of (senior) stakeholders across the business

  • Jointly with partner managers, you represent Personio at events with partners and their clients, evaluate customer-fit, share know-how and drive engagement with Personio 

  • You independently drive continuous improvement in the collaboration with our partners, incl. strategic focus and optimization of existing processes 

  • You develop new and existing training and event formats and define necessary materials for knowledge sharing or marketing purposes

  • You lead and grow your team and actively develop our partner managers by making use of data, giving individual feedback and conducting workshops and training to enhance the team’s skills

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • 6+ years professional experience in Sales(strategy), Account or Partner management or in strategy consulting

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience and strong leadership skills 

  • Experience with commercial reselling models in SaaS is a plus, esp. reselling partner services and solutions

  • You hold an academic degree, ideally a Master’s 

  • You bring strong commercial acumen and interest, ideally you have worked towards commercial goals before

  • You are characterised by a proactive, solution-oriented and structured working style and steer your work based on numbers and results 

  • You are used to juggling a variety of topics with different stakeholders while maintaining high quality standards

  • You communicate clearly and find it easy to build trust & buy-in with our partners

  • You quickly gain respect from senior business partners and decision makers

  • You are enthusiastic about software technology and are looking for a dynamic environment, in which you can build and develop scalable process and team structures

  • You are fluent in German and English
