As a Lead People Business Partner at Personio, you are part of the People & Workplace Team and responsible for leading the people strategy with our functional leaders across Europe. You will partner with executives and senior leaders in our Customer Experience Function, develop and execute effective people plans that enable the team to achieve its short and long term goals, ensuring alignment with the overall Personio people vision and strategic pillars.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Create and deliver commercially aligned people plans, including workforce, organizational development in collaboration with executives and senior leaders and their teams 

  • Activate and deliver all core Personio people activities together with your small team

  • Work with executives and senior leaders to successfully master our people cycles around performance growth, compensation, engagement, and workforce planning

  • Lead on complex employee relations cases, coaching leaders to upskill and tackle earlier, whilst identifying emerging trends

  • Provide regular people dashboards with data driven insights/actions for business areas to align on future people priorities or needs

  • Coach and develop leaders around employee relations, conflict resolution, performance and team dynamics, so they can become more self-sufficient

  • Be a neutral point of contact for any employee to discuss and problem solve sensitive topics

  • Strong collaboration with the other People & Workplace teams to ensure smooth people operations

  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, fostering a positive and productive work environment, setting clear expectations, providing support, and motivating your team members

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have a proven track record of 5+ years as an HR Business Partner.

  • You bring prior experience working in a fast-growing technology focused environment, ideally with some first-hand experience in leading/coaching.

  • You are used to translating corporate/departmental strategies into people strategy and concrete road map/projects/initiatives. 

  • You are a tech-savvy, data-driven person with strong analytical skills, as well as adept at managing complex projects. 

  • You have outstanding communication skills and are able to engage and adapt to all different types of situations in an authentic way.

  • You care about people and have lots of empathy so that you build trust quickly throughout your area of responsibility.

  • You master balancing all levels of stakeholders at ease but specifically C-level and senior leadership.

  • You have previous experience in all the following topics: performance management, compensation, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, DEI.

  • You are very strong in stakeholder management, building and maintaining a reliable, cross-departmental network as the basis for a good company-wide collaboration.

  • You have excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and preferably additional German skills.
