We are looking for a Lead Recipe Development for our ambitious Culinary team in Amsterdam. You will lead a team of recipe developers, coordinating development planning, capacity planning, and other associated recipe development tasks. You will identify, develop and execute initiatives to improve internal processes and our physical product. This role directly reports to the Team Lead Culinary.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

  • Direct your team on how to develop new recipes - taking into account financial guardrails, internal testing data, customer satisfaction data and the latest product analytics insights.
  • Collaborate closely with our Ingredients team and Menu planning team to ensure newly developed recipes continue to excite and surprise our customers.
  • Ensure a streamlined recipe development process by efficiently managing team capacity
  • You are responsible for professional development and reviews of your team
  • Organise weekly recipe performance evaluation meetings to ensure continuous implementation of the latest learnings
  • Provide support to the broader Product Operations and Global teams on cross-functional product improvement initiatives
  • Bring your initiatives to life and manage a project from start to finish, providing key updates to stakeholders and navigating delays.  

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience managing a team. As a strong communicator, you know how to set up and finish projects successfully and how to create support with stakeholders.You get energy from leading and managing a team. Ensuring your team members flourish in the organisation and have all they need to improve our product offering further.
  • Previous experience in culinary product development
  • Strong passion for food and cooking
  • Strong communication and analytical skills. You are focused on maximising customer value by leveraging the latest consumer insights.
  • Prior experience in operational capacity management, demonstrating a successful history of optimising resources and enhancing overall organisational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to interpret data and make sound commercial/ business judgments and recommendations.
  • You are full of ideas and act as a sparring partner for the team. 
  • You don’t shy away from a challenge and can perform in a fast-paced and continuously changing work environment. 
  • Fluent in English
