Brief Overview of PositionWayfair is looking for a driven leader to join our sales team as a Sales Floor Lead. We are looking for someone who is passionate and relentlessly focused on leading and developing teams, driving sales target metrics, building personalized connections, optimizing operations and creating an environment that invites and inspires our customers.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Salesfloor Manager in creating a store culture that promotes recognition, team development, relentless customer focus, and consistent drive to exceed target sales metrics.
  • Provide an authentic & friendly customer experience that exemplifies our Wayfair commitment to relentless customer focus.
  • Support Store Leadership in building the best team through training and coaching and developing associates on knowledge of our product, selling behaviors, service standards, operational process, visual practices, and other elements of the business.
  • Lead team in ensuring the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back of house standards during floor shifts.
  • Lead the use of utilization design tools, CRM software and client accounts for consistent customer experience and record keeping.
  • Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment in departments to ensure the salesfloor is adequatly stocked.
  • Become an expert of Wayfair products and services to help guide customers through their questions & provide product options both in store and online through our endless aisle and store applications.
  • Collaborate effectively in all operational aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, backfill substitutions, checkout register and general upkeep of the store.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Req

Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Retail experience, preferably motivating a team to achieve performance metrics (design or specialty sales a plus) Required
  • 1-3 years Leadership experience, preferably with experience guiding associates through selling and customer focus, operational efficiency and process, and replenishment/visual merchandising operations Required
