Critical Mass' Internship opportunities are part of our Trailhead Program and will provide a 12-week jump-start to your career. The program is a fast-track to launch your career through regular learning opportunities, mentorship, client work exposure, while also getting paid. We aim to show you all the amazing work we do here at Critical Mass, and to support you as part of the team! You will have the opportunity to try the digital agency world through multiple internship and client projects to see if it's for you! 

Our Internship will run from May 21-August 9, 2024.

The Learning and Development Intern will work with CM’s global L&D team to support a variety of employee programs across all office locations. This includes CM’s employee onboarding program, employee professional development program, internal training programs and various other employee enrichment programs offered at CM.

You Will:

  • Develop a solid understanding of all of CM’s disciplines and the corresponding positions.
  • Swiftly bring yourself up to speed on our company, our clients and our industry.
  • Gain exposure and experience in a variety of L&D skills, such as needs assessments, program development, curriculum design, program coordination, and measurement and analysis.
  • Conduct research to source the best programs, courses, conferences, workshops, etc. to support employee development across a wide variety of focus areas.
  • Work with the team to support CM’s global employee programs across all office locations as needed. 

You Have:

  • Experience or keen interest in workplace learning methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with or knowledge of elements of research process including requirements gathering, recruitment, interviewing, data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote and various internet browsers.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing training schedules, materials, and administrative tasks.
  • A high level of initiative, and the ability to proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Exceptional people skills, diplomacy, and a collaborative attitude.
  • Good use of tact and judgment with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Interest in L&D technologies or experience with a Learning Management System and/or content authoring tool is a plus.
