About the roleAt Crunchyroll, we are filled with a desire to create a space for people to belong; for our fans inside and outside the company. On the People Team, we lead the efforts to supercharge Crunchyroll employees, empowering our people grow and level up their careers. You will be the primary facilitator for our instructor-led programs, like New Hire Orientation. Working with the Senior Manager of Learning & Development, you will also build our first Global Leadership Program: vetting vendors, managing deployment, and generating excitement throughout the organization. You will partner with our People Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion teams to ensure DEIB is always at the core of how we shape our leaders.
In the role of Learning Program Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development. We are considering applicants for the location of Dallas, Texas.
You will:- Guide our learning and leadership programs in coordination with the needs of the People Team.
- Take point on the facilitation and management of New Hire Orientation events.
- Instructional design and facilitate (in varied modalities) content to supplement any company training, including professional growth, engagement, and leadership
- Support scheduling and logistics for learning and inclusion programs across the organization
- Research new vendors to meet varied development needs and provide solutions that bring results for teams and individuals.
- Develop and implement activities that help hone our leaders and next-generation managers.
- Be the go-to internal expert on learning and engagement - consulting with leaders and individual contributors across the organization.
- Evolve our learning roadmap with a clear and impassioned vision of bringing our unique core strengths and the combination of assets to life.
- Coordinate ad-hoc projects from start to finish as we continue to grow the L&D function.
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- You have 8+ years experience managing or contributing to Talent/Learning/Leadership Development or other People programs
- You have 3+ years of classroom-style facilitation with expert skills in engaging adult learners
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a social science field. (or 3-5 additional years of relevant experience)
- You are someone who cares about the success of your programs
- You have an ability to work with multiple partners across different departments, while running multiple work streams simultaneously
- You have a knowledge of events, planning, and programming
- You have experience with corporate communication campaigns
- You establish relationships and trust at all levels of the organization and with diverse populations
- You have a service-driven, and collaborative approach to identifying, crafting, and responding to opportunities
- You know Google Suite (Forms, Sites, Slides, Docs, and Sheets) - additional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
A bonus if you have:
- Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership or an MBA
- Experience working in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Absorb, Cornerstone, or Docebo
- Graphic design experience: you can wow an audience with a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck
- Certification in DiSC
