What you’ll do

Doctolib is looking for a Local Finance Manager in Germany to join its Finance team and work in close collaboration with the Accounting Shared Services Center team  based in France and all the departments of Doctolib Germany.

You will report to Accounting Shared Services Center Director in France,

Your main mission will be in charge of  quality control financial operations for Doctolib in Germany, this will inclure : control on the German books in local IFRS, Review of account documentation prepared by central teams, and lead all local Gaap activities.

You will Interact with Account Payable , Account Receivable, General Ledger and Treasury teams in France in the spirit of end-to-end process implementation

You will be the key interface between the local teams and the Group's finance department in France.

This role is a full-time job.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1/ Closing:

  • Quality review of accounting documentation for elements prepared by central GL team
  • Comment on accounts for each legal entity
  • Supervise relationships with independent auditor and ensure accurate preparation of audited financial statements

2/ General Ledger Accounting:

  • Centralise all non recurring elements to be taken in account for monthly reporting and address them to the central GL Team for processing. Enrue quality review.
  • Prepare source for quarterly transfer pricing billing, document quality of Intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies with Group Partner if needed

3/ Tax entries and reporting:

  • Prepare tax declarations and book entries when required
  • Post provisions for tax risks (e.g. income tax) and formalize table with provision variations on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate relations with external experts.
  • Ensure coordination with the Accounting Shared Services Center and the accounting firm in German topics: payment and calculation of taxes, taxes declarations, questions from local tax administration

4/ Consolidation and reporting:

  • Prepare monthly reporting and submit to General Ledger Manager in France
  • Prepare and report other reports (intercompany, taxes...)
  • Participate in the calculation of IFRS adjustments for the Accounting Shared Services Center team

5/ Support Finance management

  • Act as a key point of contact for the Group Finance department by communicating local operational changes or issues related to financial processes (AP, AR, GL, F&PA).
  • Support through corporate guidelines setting process and facilitate their roll-out across the organization
  • Check compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

6/ Internal control

  • Be responsible for internal SOX controls for German entities related controls

 7/ Manage relationships with financial auditors

  • You have at least 6 years experience in Finance or General Ledger Accounting, with ideally a track record in audit. Shared Services Center experience is appreciated
  • You like team work, and you want to be hands on. You are familiar with German accounting and tax standards. You have already been accountable of annual financial statements fillings
  • You speak English and German fluently
  • You want to evolve in a dynamic environment with functions and processes to structure
