We are currently seeking an innovative and energetic Logistics Coordinator within our Logistics Operations Center.  This person will be responsible for managing and improving outbound freight processes and tools. Including transportation scheduling, tracking linehauls, negotiating spot market freight, managing exceptions, and communicating cross-functionally to create seamless transportation execution across our network. The Shift for this role is 8am-6pm Wednesday-Saturday.

• Execute the outbound strategy - working across all procurement categories, distribution centers, third-party storage locations, cross docks, and vendors.
• Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of HelloFresh’s logistics network and exceptions recovery to ensure customer on time delivery
• Collaborate with category teams and distribution centers daily to effectively manage delivery and shipping schedules.
• Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network to optimize processes.
• Collaborate on special projects as required, including process optimization and cost savings initiatives.
• Conduct analyses of transportation data as required.
• Work cross-functionally with our distribution center leaders, procurement leaders, and last mile facilities to drive effective transportation strategy.

• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain operations, with relevant experience in transportation management.
• A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, other relevant area of study; or comparable work experience.
• Experience working with transportation management software i.e BluJay/E2Open is a plus..
• Flexibility to travel up to 20% within the United States.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills, pivot tables and v-lookups are a must.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience with project management is a plus.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools i.e Tableau is a plus..
