HashiCorp India Finance Center of Excellence:
HashiCorp has its Finance Centre of Excellence in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India to help HashiCorp’s USA Headquarter and 15+ other countries where we have our legal entities. From India, we are independently handling / supporting multiple processes that include GL Accounting, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Revenue Accounting, Internal Controls, Payroll, Taxation, Travel Administration, FP&A, Reporting, etc.HashiCorp delivers a software suite for users to provision, secure and run any infrastructure for any application. About the role:
The Finance team is seeking an Accounting Manager for its Shared Service Center/ Center of Excellence in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India to support Accounting for our US entity and possibly for some of the international entities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking for a broad range of responsibilities within an operating company and wants exposure to accounting and finance in a hyper growth technology company.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, oversight, communication, performance management, mentorship and development to staff (a team of 2-3 accountants)
- Prepare and review month end close journal entries, reconciling accounts, account analysis and other corporate accounting activities
- Respond and support internal and external inquiries
- Accountable for the accuracy of financial reporting, internally and externally
- Assist with Auditors’ PBC requests
- Prepare consolidated roll forwards of various balance sheet accounts. Prepare, review, and manage account reconciliations, and account analysis
- Support domestic and international payroll and budgeting/planning functions.
- Monitors and improves accounting procedures to strive for efficient workflows.
- Support the Finance and Accounting organization as the company scales
- Work with direct reports to establish goals and provide guidance on professional development
- Hire and train new accounting employees
- Coordinate with Finance team based out of San Francisco, CA, USA for transition of accounting processes to India and train the team
- Standardization and documentation of processes which team can use as guide
- Drive process improvements and optimizing efficiency, using HashiCorp software to streamline reporting
- Setup SLAs in coordination with onshore team and ensure the delivery on that basis
- Prepare the company’s monthly consolidation including the consolidated balance sheet, statement of income and statement of cash flows
- Other ad-hoc projects as required
Learning Opportunities:
- Preparation and research for financial audits
- Work on Acquisition Accounting
Requirements:
- Should be a Chartered Accountant with a good academic record and Articleship from a renowned CA firm
- 4+ years in prior supervisory or manager role and 8+ years of overall experience post CA qualification
- Excellent experience in US as well as International Accounting
- Candidates who are immediately available to join will be preferred
- Should have experience in working in a technology company with headquarter in USA supporting the entire Accounting process using US GAAPs and IFRS
- Financial Systems Implementation experience (either managed a project or was part of a team)
- Very high attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing workloads
- Should be able to work with flexible working hours
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas locally and internationally
- Should have hands-on experience in preparation of Financial Statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements.
- Should be open to work on certain critical tasks as an individual contributor along with managing the team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite
- Experience with Netsuite and other major ERP systems and good experience in other integrated financial tools
