About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Manager – Business Systems, Post Sales to lead our Salesforce and post-sales systems team. This leader will oversee a team of Solution Architects and Administrators, driving the roadmap, delivery, and optimization of all Salesforce and related systems supporting Customer Success, Support, Renewals, and Customer Operations.

You will work closely with business leaders across Customer Success, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Revenue Operations to align technology solutions with post-sales business goals. This role is critical to ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality system design, development, and operational support across the post-sales customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Solution Architects and Administrators, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.

  • Systems Roadmap Ownership: Own the post-sales systems roadmap, focusing on Salesforce Service Cloud, Customer Success tools, Renewals, Knowledge Base, Case Management, Customer Portals, and integrations with related systems.

  • Strategic Alignment: Translate business strategy into scalable system solutions; prioritize enhancements, integrations, and process improvements supporting post-sales functions.

  • Project Delivery: Drive the delivery of high-impact projects, balancing strategic initiatives, operational support, and technical debt reduction.

  • Best Practices Establishment: Establish best practices for system architecture, governance, security, and release management across the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with post-sales stakeholders to define business requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure successful project execution.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on system performance, support SLAs, and team capacity; ensure continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, contractor resources, and system partners as needed.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce or post-sales systems roles, with 3+ years managing Salesforce systems.

  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing Salesforce teams, including architects and admins.

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Knowledge Management, Case Management, Customer Portals, and Customer Success tools.

  • Experience with Gainsight and Certinia preferred.

  • Strong understanding of post-sales processes (customer onboarding, support, renewals, success, professional services) and their system needs.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale Salesforce projects and managing complex post-sales system environments.

  • Experience with Agile delivery, sprint planning, and capacity/resource management.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant) preferred.
