We’re looking for a Manager II, People Analytics Solutions to join the Pinterest People Insights & Analytics (PIA) team. PIA is a team of analytics experts, research scientists,  and dashboard wizards delivering business intelligence solutions and data-driven insights to help our leaders make better decisions. We are a highly collaborative team, partnering across the People Team and the Business on employee and business initiatives. 

As a Manager II, People Analytics Solutions, you and your team of Business Intelligence artists will help make self-service metrics and KPIs easy for our stakeholders to review on time, make decisions, and act. You’ll also work with cross-functional partners and the broader People Insights & Analytics team to productionize popular and critical analytics, requests, and scenario planning tools, such as talent demand planning and HC planning tools. You’ll work with your stakeholders to discern their priorities, make recommendations and work with your team to design, develop, and deliver these much needed products. You and your team will build ad hoc deliverables and continuously evolve established data products to support established and evolving People Team and business priorities and initiatives. 

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize enterprise-wide people analytics products that empower leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions and optimize their talent and organizational strategies.
  • Help identify key People metrics and develop benchmarks to measure progress and align People objectives with overall organizational goals.
  • Stand up dashboards and scorecards that help track and report on business-critical measures, identify patterns and trends that provide valuable insight across HR processes and programs.
  • Work with other subject matter experts across the People Team (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRBPs, Learning and Development, Compensation) to promote data governance, data security/privacy, and other standards.
  • Partner with the team to maintain high data quality and integrity standards, and regularly review and maintain the team’s productionized data products to ensure ongoing quality and functionality.
  • Own and maintain access to dashboards and other data products, ensuring that the right users have access to appropriate data.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of data and business intelligence analysts.
  • Lead project processes for their team and coordinate data deliverables that cross multiple teams.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to optimize the self-service experience for non-technical stakeholders and other end-users.
  • Partner closely with People Tech and IT to maintain and optimize data standards, governance, and security.
  • Work with their team to develop change management and training to ensure stakeholders and end-users apply best-practices to self-service solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading teams of analyst or business intelligence developers.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with experience in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and integrity.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with collaborators on the broader People Insights & Analytics team and cross-functional teams to influence, discuss and explain data results to non-technical partners.
  • Experience with Workday, including an understanding of the system data structure and system capabilities.
  • Able to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities.
  • Solid project management skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong teammate.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Knowledge of human resource practices, techniques and standards.
  • Superior spreadsheet skills (Google sheets or Excel), including functions, pivot tables, and macros.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
