Pure Storage is looking for a Manager, National Partner Sales to aggressively drive a team of National Partner Manager (NPMs) to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, support and ultimately pipeline creation. 

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Communicate masterfully with National Partner Managers and partners on new product offerings.
  • Manage a team of Regional National Partner Managers and help drive their success.
  • Manage the team's pursuit to expand Pure’s footprint and selling practices within the National Partner. 
  • Create Strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Pure products within Channel.
  • Manage sales orders and provide status to partner and/or manager. 
  • Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products. 
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows. 
  • Conduct contract negotiations and define and execute partner sales plans. 
  • Aggressively drive the partner to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support. 
  • Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills. 
  • Conducting contract negotiations & defining and executing partner sales plans. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Demonstrated experience developing National partners or sales teams  in previous careers.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • The desire to drive change and evangelize new technologies.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Knowledge of the storage industry.
  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.
  • 4+ years of sales management experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing Reseller and Distributor Channels.
  • BA/BA degree in business, marketing or software engineering.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A desire to drive change and evangelize new technologies.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.

 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is: $142,800—$214,200 USD
