The Opportunity:
JWP is looking for an innovative and experienced Talent Development Manager who is interested in driving the design, implementation and evaluation of our Global Talent Development initiatives. You will collaborate across a growing global organization to develop clear career progression paths and competencies, refine performance management, and champion the development of high potential and emerging talent. As a Manager of Talent Development, you will:
- Own our talent development function and systems to enable effective onboarding, uplevel general learning and development and respond to cross company training and support growth and change management.
- Partner on performance management at the company from performance reviews and the performance review process to Career.
- Progression paths and competencies; aligning performance feedback with developmental actions.
- Support and implement a culture of coaching, mentoring, career conversations and internal mobility.
- Plan and lead our Leadership, Coaching, and Management programs to proactively uplevel our talent and facilitate discussion and ideas through Talent Forums, Succession Planning and other Management practices with the company.
- Establish consistent methods, standards and measurements in the way talent development programs are developed, deployed and assessed with business metrics.
- Research internally and externally to understand the current and future global talent development needs and provide the relevant analytics to underpin these needs.
- Partner with the People Operations team on the curriculum development for DEI and Onboarding as well as ensure awareness of development needs and career aspirations of high potentials within the departments.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to drive a measurable increase in cross-functional moves by acting as a talent advocate and broker to increase internal fill rate.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, of which min. 3 years in Talent/HR Program Management, Learning and Development (L&D)/ Organizational Development, or HR Generalist.
- Experience of the design and delivery of training initiatives; Experience leading the creation and delivery of innovative learning through in person, digital and video format.
- Solid knowledge of various appropriate Talent Development approaches and technologies as well as a proven knowledge of the challenges.Operational management experience in a Talent Development role / Learning and Development role within a Technology, SaaS or rapidly growing company.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to move ideas through to deliverables.
- Dynamic and collaborative individual who works well with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships through data-driven approaches and exercising judgment to determine appropriate action.
- Proactive and eager to jump into the work and drive consistent execution in a fast-moving environment with a "make it happen" attitude.
Bonus Points:
- Experience at a SaaS or Advertising Technology Company.
- Experience owning LMS and Talent Development Strategy at a 200+ person company.
- Experience at a Global company, working with diverse cultures and time zones
