Job Description:

As the Manager, Paid Social, for HelloFresh you will be responsible for building and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition campaigns across all major paid social channels.  You will play an instrumental role in developing the Paid Social strategy and own the execution of the campaigns and perform campaign trafficking.  You also will be using analytics to inform decisions and optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals. 

Collaboration is a key component in this role as you will work closely with multiple teams, including Growth, Brand, Data and CRM. The Manager, Paid Social is an exciting opportunity allowing you to develop as a future paid social leader of D2C growth while helping to build one of the biggest food-tech brands in the world!

You will … 

  • Plan, design, and execute paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc) campaigns from execution to completion. 
  • Use a data-first approach to analyze performance drivers to optimize for channel ROI.
  • Be responsible for all campaign trafficking, quality control, campaign launch, reporting, and analysis. This is a hands-on role building & optimizing campaigns. Report on campaign KPIs to key stakeholders
  • Optimize campaign performance towards activation, retention, and reactivation goals.
  • Partner with internal teams to optimize campaign performance; e.g. Creative, BI, CRM,  etc.—(targeting, optimization, creative direction, etc.)
  • Develop relationships with key paid social partners to nurture performance growth. Manage external partners/contractors to maximize performance and ensure deadlines are met.

You are… 

  • Persistent in your track record of growth through a solid understanding of paid social and all performance marketing metrics (CPM, engagement rate, CPA, CPC & LTV)
  • Experienced running large multi-million dollar growth campaigns on paid social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit and Snapchat
  • A strong communicator and presenting skills with an eye for creative performance.
  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills; able to use data to optimize day-to-day performance
  • Proactive with a process-improvement mindset to help us become more efficient in our activities.
  • Curious to not just know what is happening, but to understand why it is happening.
  • Obsessed with growth and building things while not being afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Familiar with the fast-paced, demanding and analytical startup environment
  • A natural hustler with a contagious “can-do” attitude with a positive mindset towards challenges and new opportunities
You have… 
  • A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role.
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing paid social campaigns on the client-side (preferred) or at a performance marketing agency.
  • Must be proficient at Excel for performance analysis (pivot tables, formula building, etc)
  • Knowledge of Facebook bidding, targeting, optimization, as well as web & app tracking setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with performance marketing metrics and platform reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Able to use data to optimize day-to-day performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management ability
