We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Product Manager to join our team in Prague. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Senior and Principal Product Managers, driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our product initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping our product roadmap, ensuring alignment with our business objectives, and delivering exceptional products that meet our customers' needs.

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Senior and Principal Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Define and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and roadmap development.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers and gather feedback to inform product decisions and enhance user experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed product decisions, track key performance metrics, and measure the success of product initiatives.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in product management processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize team efficiency and product outcomes.x

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years managing product management teams. Proven track record of leading Senior and Principal Product Managers.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure, APIs, SaaS, and observability tools.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand complex technical concepts and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Customer-Centric: Deep customer empathy and a passion for delivering products that delight users and solve real-world problems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Global Perspective: Experience working with international teams and a deep understanding of global markets.
  • Innovation Mindset: A track record of driving innovation and bringing new products to market successfully.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.

As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
