Wayfair is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Reverse Logistics operations strategy. We are looking for a team leader with a creative mindset towards driving results through data a technical aptitude, and a desire to drive scalable strategic advancements at Wayfair. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable, hands-on, and understand how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company.

This is a role in the Transportation and delivery team to play an integral part of middle mile execution and reverse logistics. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations, working to turn ambiguous problems into concrete changes in Wayfair’s transportation supply chain. In the past, key initiatives have included changes to the network-wide processes (SOPs) and changes to the topology of our reverse logistics network. This role is a great fit for someone who can approach exciting problems with structure, and answer-first communication, and who is eager to drive change from the warehouse floor to senior corporate leadership.

What you will do: 

  • Solve problems critical to the long-term health of our business: define the root cause, structure and execute analyses, distill insights into persuasive recommendations, and communicate across our diverse set of stakeholders 
  • Identify the metrics necessary to monitor the health of the reverse logistics supply chain,  thresholds of what ‘good’ looks like and engage with our buildings to address trends
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, technology teams, and field operations across Wayfair to continually identify opportunities, build sophisticated analytical models, and drive impact

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Supply chain, logistics, and customer service experience 
    • Experience changing processes is preferred
  • Strong experience working in Google Sheets / Excel; Familiarity with SQL and or GBQ a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of management
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined story and action plan
  • Experience in taking a company forward in a fast-growth environment, providing insight for direction, and managing change effectively
  • Experience with leveraging data sets to draw insights

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
