What is the role?
Sales Development Manager, EMEA & APJ
Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Development, the Sales Development Manager will lead a team of SDRs across EMEA/APJ. The right person will be driven by achieving sales goals, growing a team, and growing in sales leadership. You will work cross functionally with ThoughtSpot's marketing and sales departments in alignment with our Go To Market strategy.
What you'll do:
- Lead and motivate a team responsible with qualifying inbound leads and generating demand with targeted outreach
- Enable, develop and empower your team to proactively research, identify, qualify prospects, building sales pipeline
- Manage a team of SDRs responsible for partnering with field sales and driving meetings for field AEs
- Use research skills and follow a sales playbook designed to identify current and future BI/Analytics prospects for ThoughtSpot
- Deliver a consistent and accurate forecast for your team, using salesforce, to report activity and productivity to the executive sales team
- Recruit new SDRs on your team to support continued growth in the region
- Experience in building out a software sales team through recruiting up and coming sales professionals
- Experience in leading a highly successful inside sales team
- Historical over achievement of quota in an individual contributor sales role
- Experience in coaching and developing a sales team
- Adaptability to embrace change within a high paced startup environment
What will set you apart:
- Experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
