We are now looking for a Marketing Lead to join our team at Contentive, one of our ventures reinventing B2B media and events. Staying up to date in a fast-changing industry is a major challenge for professional executives. At Contentive we develop smart ways to curate and create content that cuts through the noise and captures the attention of busy execs to help them succeed in their roles.  In turn, we offer suppliers that want to influence these communities, a cost-effective, reliable, scalable source of qualified leads. We aim to become a long term, retained partner with leading suppliers in each of our markets: Finance, Fintech, HR and Digital Marketing.

 

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a strategic and creative marketeer to head up our diverse marketing team.

This is a key hire as we scale our product proposition, you’ll be managing the team responsible for end to end campaign planning and execution across product delivery and also the growth marketing team that take it to market. Your role will include the provision of strategic advice to our product and customer insights team as we scale our marketing service proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for owning, developing and scaling our campaign blueprints with focus on member journey and scaling campaign automation
  • Responsible for introducing a content-led approach to our marketing efforts, providing real focus to our message, what we say and how it resonates with customer and audience need
  • Work with a connected group of specialists, informing their outputs and ensuring that campaign activities are delivered on time to required standards.
  • Responsible for managing our design and creative solutions taking responsibility for the agencies we work with and the associated creative process ensuring collateral remains on brand and connects with the customer
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve campaign performance – working with Head of Data to review metrics and insight to inform tactics and approach
  • Act as a strategic advisor to our product and customer success and insights team, using your marketing knowledge and experience to support the development and growth of our new business model
  • Proactively work with the marketing management team to better connect our plans and activities as we move to a single customer view
  • Work with Marketing, Product and Sales and customer success to establish growth strategies to support our revenue goals
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of marketing managers – providing leadership and support to them to deliver against objectives and more broadly develop their skills and experience

 

ABOUT YOU

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years working in marketing, preferably with some experience in management
  • Experience in campaign automation, customer journey planning and using technology to deliver personalised campaigns
  • Experience of using data and insights to inform and optimise campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering acquisition targets and improving engagement through campaign planning and marketing activation
  • Demonstrable skill-set in creating and managing a creative marketing team / function – with emphasis on content marketing bringing together copy and design to create content which resonates and improves engagement
  • Demonstrable proficiency with multiple channels of paid marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation practices across acquisition and retention
  • Experience of running structured testing programmes
