We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own all aspects of our Marketo automation platform including integrations between our instance, the CRM, and our website. This role requires a strong understanding of Marketo and Salesforce and the interactions between the two, as well as an ability to streamline current workflows, use analytics to uncover new opportunities and debug programmatic issues. You will provide governance, process, and consultation to other users of the Marketo platform, ensuring consistent health and hygiene of the database. Your knowledge will be vital to ensuring that our Salesforce and Marketo instances communicate seamlessly, minimizing any potential sync errors, backlogs, or any other potential service slowdowns. 

Formlabs acquires new customers and serves existing customers via direct sales reps, e-commerce, and resellers, so the business needs are complex and the environment is fast-paced. With data at the heart of everything we do, you’ll work closely with Sales Ops, Web, and Systems to ensure proper attribution, flawless lead distribution, and timely A/B tests on formlabs.com.

This role requires an on-site presence in our Budapest office 3 days per week.

The Job 

  • Manage all Marketo operations, providing governance, process, and consultation to enable other marketers to efficiently use the platform.
  • Build and deploy programs to maintain the hygiene and integrity of our prospect database.
  • Coordinate with marketing analytics to develop robust lead scoring and decay models 
  • Work directly with Sales Ops to own the relationship between Marketo and Salesforce for API uptime, field creation, and system backlogs
  • Support reliable reporting, tracking, and attribution across all global markets
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on email deliverability and hygiene at Formlabs 
  • Track, report on, and optimize key metrics like email volume, unsubscribe rates, and inbound ticket completion
  • Manage MarTech vendor relationships, due diligence, and negotiations 
  • Drive best practices across the MarTech stack, making recommendations to drive higher performance and optimization.
  • You will stay current with developing marketing systems ecosystems and other system best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • You will troubleshoot data and campaign issues by conducting root cause analyses, defining improvement recommendations, and resolving escalations

You 

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in marketing ops and automation roles
  • Advanced experience working with Marketo and Salesforce; Marketo Certified Expert preferred
  • First-hand experience in owning a 1M+ lead database and managing lead source tracking
  • Advanced understanding of the campaign management process, attribution and measurement, and marketing funnel management
  • Proficient knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive actionable insights using Excel or comparable software
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales operations, web developers, and marketers
  • Player/coach with an energetic and willing attitude
  • Engineering-oriented focus with the ability to quickly become confident and competent in low-code software solutions. Understanding of software engineering fundamentals. Have some experience in programming (backend or frontend)
  • Ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical, business terms for various stakeholders
  • Passionate about marketing technology and supporting data-driven marketing & innovation
  • Be able to work independently and have attention to detail, manage your own time and deadlines
  • Strong project management skills and expertise in designing and implementing process improvements
