What You'll Do:
We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Engineer. You will be a hands-on engineer, with a customer-centric mindset, responsible to design, build, and drive the backend systems. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Design and implement scalable backend systems that process and manage large volumes of customer data
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our backend systems.
- Write robust code and write functional, performance, and system test suites
- Work as a member of a team, helping the team respond quickly and effectively to business needs.
- Knowledge of distributed systems is a plus.
What You'll Bring:
- Product development experience using Java based technologies and framework.
- Development experience on Linux platforms.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Experience with Core Java & J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Web Services (SOAP / REST), ESB & XML.
- Should be proficient in using ORM as hibernate.
- Technical requirement for Core Java, Exception handling, Collections API, Multithreading with latest concurrency package, Best practices (such as avoiding code duplication, avoiding hard coded values etc.), Design patterns.
- Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, Hibernate and Spring version 3.x 1, Spring Dependency Injection (IOC, MVC, JDBC, JMS, etc.)
- Must have a deep knowledge in any of the database like oracle, MySql etc.
