You'll join a collaborative team of Sales Managers based in our London office, responsible for recruitment, coaching and training a team of Business Development Managers with varying experience from lead-generation to Mid-Market executives. You will play a vital role in our efforts to leverage an effective learning and development environment and a supportive sales culture. We aim to become the global No.1 online review platform. It is the job of the sales manager to recruit and develop talent that will get us there. Trustpilot is a fast-growing business; therefore, we are looking for an innovative collaborator who is focused on what we do.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a motivated team of around 8 Sales Executives
  • Performance and coaching
  • Work closely with the learning and development team to identify and execute on individual and team training needs
  • Facilitate and assist your team in outbound sourcing of new leads to meet quota coverage
  • Strategic market research and vertical strategy implementation
  • Produce weekly sales forecasts
  • Full employee lifecycle management (e.g. recruitment, performance improvement plans, 1:1 meetings with team members weekly etc.). You will have an HR Business Partner to help you in these specific matters
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, our Sales Director and the other Sales Managers to ensure that progress aligns with the organisation’s overall marketing strategy and sales team objectives
  • Develop motivational incentives

Who you are:

  • 5+ years sales management experience
  • Experience working in an agile start-up/small company
  • Experience selling an enterprise solution in the UK online marketing field
  • Understanding of the e-commerce, social media and Marketing space
  • Ability to coach and develop an inside sales team on all aspects of sales process - from lead gen to pipe-line development and closing business
  • Ability to create a positive, motivated sales culture and great team spirit
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing automation systems (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn)
  • Self-motivated, innovative, creative and strategic planner
  • A focus on growth and continuous improvement in performance
  • Proficient oral, and written skills
