The Night Shift Lead Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for leading a team hands-on in the pharmacy operation and will build and maintain relationships with hourly team members. Under the direction of management, the Lead will train Team Members through the assignment of work-flow and effectively reports information to management to provide outstanding service to the customers. The incumbent is expected to set an example for other employees through professional conduct and by safely performing all assigned tasks to predetermined standards. In this flexible position, the tasks may include sorting, loading, palatalizing, scanning and quality assurance. The incumbent is expected to report any violations of company policy and procedures to management. This person will be someone enjoys change and getting into the details to drive improvements every single day.  What You'll do:
  • Direct a team of up to 35 hourly team members
  • Train Team Members to safely and accurately perform tasks to predetermined standards.
  • Based on operational plans and company standards, assign Team Members to work areas to customer service & reach operational goals.
  • Provide management feedback of Team Members and then provide on-the-job training to meet training needs.
  • Notify management of equipment malfunctions and other potential safety issues.
  • Send out quarterly progress reports and deep dive successes and missed opportunities.  
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and basic software issues
  • Understand basic Outbound Flow and strategically place team members to enable best throughout practices. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Promote safety programs and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Ability to direct a team by leading stand up and stand downs.  Speaking to large groups
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members as well as recognizing a job well done
  • Educate team members on the “Whys and How’s” of a process
  • Support continuous improvement efforts through waste elimination.
  • Capable of covering a shift if supervisor is absent.  
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in the FC to provide feedback and inspire change within the facility, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience Unload, load, lift, push, and stack packages.
  • Use the site Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectiveness
What You'll Need:
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. and bend, lift safely and repetitively
  • Must be a CPhT (certified pharmacy technician) in the state of Texas.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out simple instructions from oral instructions or written correspondence
  • Good communicator and active listener
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic
  • The ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals
  • Ability to plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Adhere to quality and performance standards
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Ability to focus attention on details
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines
