About the opportunity

We are looking for someone interested in turning data and information into business insights to help to improve our operations and who likes to go beyond analyses by actually implementing data-driven solutions and process automation.

As a Strategy & Operations Intern you will work directly with the Strategy & Operations Manager of the Latam Tribe, generating impact in our operations in Chile, Colombia and Peru by empowering the organization with data, processes optimization, and new projects, which will enable us to take the Operations team to the next level.

As our Ops Intern, you will help us to:
  • Continuously seek opportunities in order to improve our operations and create new projects. Also, automate processes by relying on strong data and coding skills to improve our merchant funnel conversion.
  • Support our many projects with different teams by analyzing and modeling data to test different initiatives. 
  • Create dashboards to follow online operations on Tableau.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and expose main conclusions to help in decision-making.
  • Design experiments to test hypotheses and implement merchant-based solutions in a fast-paced environment.
You will be a great fit for this position if you:
  • You will graduate in 2023/2024 (profesional & Profesional)
  • You have an intermediate or advanced level of SQL.
  • You are an Excel and/or Google Sheets power user with experience with pivot tables and graphs.
  • You have experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc).
  • Python knowledge is valued but is not a requirement.
  • You have an "optimization" mindset, you are always looking at how to make processes more efficient or automate them.
  • You are proactive in proposing new ideas, take ownership of projects, and share insights without waiting to be asked for them.
  • You have great communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - you can communicate ideas and concepts with team members from a wide range of countries and cultures and build strong and productive relationships.
