YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join Glovo’s Operations team in Morocco!

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead a team of Ops Specialists, guiding them and helping them both to achieve their goals and to develop their skills.
  • Lead by example by being incredibly truth-seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting high standards for the team
  • Establish the monthly/quarterly goals of your cities and be responsible for their Operational metrics, continuously monitoring their achievement
  • Be able to perform any required analysis and provide actionable ideas to improve indicators and solve any possible problems in the cities of your region.
  • Build, maintain, and scale detailed reporting models aiming to support your cities' performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Define, implement, and monitor procedures together with local teams to improve the performance of any individual city
  • Support Commercial team on operational issues, identifying areas for improvement and possible actions, always with a didactic and positive attitude.
  • Manage communication with Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PL) related to the distribution network
  • Understand, deep-dive, and have a complete understanding of the local supply situation at all times
  • Identify channels to source new leads and potential Glovers through both online and offline medium
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operation metrics with a macro view of the long-term success of the city/region
  • Optimize delivery times and Glover earnings

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2-5 (max) years of experience in highly demanding positions (operations, logistics, technology, consulting, etc...).
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to challenge/improve the status quo
  • Passionate about analytics
  • Problem-solving skills: no problem is too small or too big 
  • Results-oriented, analytical mindset to re-think our processes is a must
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Leadership - you can motivate your teammates. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track
  • Proficient in English & French is a must
  • Experience in SQL is a plus
