Operations Planning Analyst 

You will… 

  • Provide strategic insights to the Operations and Supply Chain departments by conducting data analysis, forecasting trends, and identifying opportunities for process optimization driving cost reduction.
  • Help maintain and create critical tools, datasets, and reporting systems utilized across Operations. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes, share insights, and drive coordinated efforts towards achieving operational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates, reports, and data used for senior leadership presentations.
  • Assist with developing tools that seamlessly integrate with internal systems that provide data visibility for third-party logistics (3PL) sites. 
  • Conduct technical gap analyses and develop advanced tools and scripts to provide real-time data visibility to the operations team, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Assist in scoping and developing more robust user interface to eventually transition from google sheets to HTML/Java/Python based platform.

At a minimum, you have...

  • Possess 1-2+ years of experience in an analytical capacity, including tool maintenance, preparing reports, creating dashboards, and helping with data visualizations for driving business decisions.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes, 
  • Skills in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling are a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), Google Suite applications (particularly Google Sheets and Google Scripts), and Tableau for data visualization.
  • Ability to work with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Knowledge of Microsoft Power 
  • Query and Python is a strong plus, enabling advanced data processing and analysis capabilities.
