Ops Tech Data Engineer / Analyst

This job will require exceptional skills in tech, business and operations while having the ability to work independently in a fast paced high growth environment.

The role

As the Spanish Ops Tech Data Engineer / Analyst, you will be part of our Operations team and will be an integral part of how HelloFresh revolutionizes the food industry and the way people eat! This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical and technical skills and demonstrated ability of successfully applying data & business analysis in a supply chain environment.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and improve local Ops Tech-tool infrastructure across the entire supply chain, from product until outbound logistics and finance
• Responsible for the data integrity and reliability through the development and use of data governance framework to support data-driven business decision approach
• Responsible for the management, creation and maintenance of KPI reporting dashboards for the Spanish market, to ensure all stakeholders (locally and globally) are correctly informed about the company performances
• Support ongoing BI and operational processes, such as forecasting and planning, to ensure that all stakeholders get the high quality data on request
• Work closely with our operational teams to understand their needs and requirements. Utilize this insight to define and implement tailored solutions that meet those needs and/or provide actionable insights & recommendations
• Engage with our global teams to understand and leverage best practices from other markets
• Improve and/or develop workflow tools and processes across the organization
• Provide ad hoc support on special projects related to improving our overall business - both operationally and commercially

What you’ll bring

• Very good knowledge of Google Sheets and Google Apps Script, SQL, Python or any other scripting languages is a must.Tableau/BI experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a business driven format
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and clearly communicate data insights
• Hands-on experience in business intelligence, data mining, predictive analytics and statistical analyses
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain analytics (production and fulfillment background preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, demanding and analytical startup environment
• You are a team player, you thrive in a large international and geographically dispersed team
• Strong Spanish and English proficiency is a must
• Nice to have: Experience driving adoption of infrastructure (e.g. Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS)
