Paid Media Manager, Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
As a Paid Media Manager (SEM) for Fastly, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the company’s overall search engine marketing strategy. This position covers a wide variety of duties such as building SEM campaigns, campaign optimization, content planning, keyword analysis and strategy, landing page optimization, monthly/quarterly budget planning, and full funnel lead optimization. You will also be tasked to build, and execute campaigns on other paid channels such as Linkedin, Reddit, and Facebook.
What You'll Do:
- Strategically develop, execute, and optimize granular global SEM campaigns spanning product lines while consistently meeting budget and ROI forecasts
- Develop reporting framework and perform analysis on campaign effectiveness to provide actionable insights and make informed decisions for continuous optimizations
- Responsible for experimentation roadmap spanning across bid strategies, keywords, match types, search ad copy, creative, and landing page optimization
- Coordinate with creative and web team to develop high conversion/engagement landing pages
- Plan and coordinate with PMMs to create high lead producing whitepapers and 3rd party reports
- Effectively manage and pace a strict budget while working with finance on accruals, POs, and month/quarter close.
- Build and monitor campaigns in Salesforce and report / track downstream ROI
- Stay current with Google industry trends and overall digital marketing best practices
- The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive data-driven marketing plans.
- Identify and test other emerging paid channels as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of hands on experience managing and optimizing B2B paid search campaigns (e.g. Google ads & Bing ads platforms), including non-search campaigns (e.g. YouTube and Display)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (including advanced functions) to digest and synthesize data while providing regular reporting to various stakeholders
- Proven track record of accelerating revenue growth via granular global paid search optimizations
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo
- Ability to own and manage overlapping responsibilities
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or similar preferred)

Work Hours:
- This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $111,000 to $154,170.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
