In this role, you will drive the strategic development of an exciting pillar of growth in the Canadian market across our multi-brand portfolio of HelloFresh, Chefs Plate and Factor. You will be tasked with prospecting and outreach to new partners for our brands to find ways of working together to help grow our customer base. We have partners ranging from life insurance to telecommunications to e-commerce companies all over Canada.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partnerships and working closely with our other Partnerships Specialist, you will join a Toronto-based growth marketing team that is talented and driven.  With a product that excites consumers and a market-leading position, HelloFresh is primed to be the number one meal kit and food partner for businesses.  This is a wonderful opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with a team that is passionate and fun.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

  • Research and build out a partner prospect pipeline and focus on hitting a specific outreach goal per week to bring in net new partnerships for HelloFresh, Chefs Plate, and Factor brands
  • Have ownership of the partnership pipeline by nurturing leads and planning how these will help hit conversion targets. Are you putting in all the necessary activities to get you to hit the target by EOY (ex. Emails, calls, and meetings) and are these partnerships going to drive an expected return?
  • Prepare regular updates on pipeline status and forecast impact on our customer base on an ongoing basis
  • Build an understanding and work collaboratively with teams across HelloFresh, Chefs Plate and Factor to craft custom partnerships based on capabilities and what can be done in house to help partners with their goals (ie in box inserts, social media collaborations, etc)
  • Help manage critical operations, including voucher creation, invoicing and cost log
  • Help and be a strategic thought partner with the creation and iteration of the partnership strategy for HelloFresh, Chefs Plate, and Factor
  • Leverage data to optimize the current partners to encourage repeat programs and drive growth within the channel.
  • Manage and track active partner conversations keeping track of progress and ensuring they continue to progress through input from other stakeholders, partner feedback and any other inputs needed to continue the conversation
  • Be the face of Hellofresh, Chefs Plate, and Factor to external consumer brands with the goal of generating new business and enriching existing relationships
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • 3-5 years of business development or marketing partnership experience
  • Proven track record in sales or similar environments with cold outreach and prospecting
  • Proficiency in Excel and either hands-on experience or willingness to quickly learn reporting and project management tools such as Tableau, JIRA, Asana
  • You have strong organizational skills that help you closely monitor your business function and prioritize for success.
  • Past proven track record in negotiating, signing on, and relationship management of external stakeholders, partners and vendors.
  • You take a data and analytics-driven approach to making business and operational decisions 
  • Experience using sales tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, etc.
