Partnerships Enablement Lead

Databricks is seeking a driven and experienced Partnerships Enablement Lead to spearhead enablement efforts for both Cloud and strategic technology partnerships. This role will be responsible for owning enablement content and strategy for major Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, and Google) as well as key technology partners (such as SAP, Palantir, and others) for our internal sales executives and sales leaders.
As the Partnerships Enablement Lead, you will be instrumental in equipping the Databricks sales organization with the knowledge, tools, and resources required to effectively engage with and leverage our partner ecosystems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver clear, impactful enablement materials that align with Databricks’ business priorities and drive revenue growth through partnerships.
The impact you will have:
- Develop and Execute Enablement Strategy:
- Own and drive the enablement strategy for Cloud (AWS, Microsoft, Google) and technology partnerships (SAP, Palantir, etc.), ensuring alignment with Databricks’ go-to-market priorities.
- Content Creation:
- Lead the creation of partnership-focused enablement content, including sales playbooks, case studies, white papers, and presentations, all delivered in a simple, digestible format.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with executives across product, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure consistent partnership messaging and value propositions.
- Training and Enablement:
- Design and implement training programs to enhance the partnership expertise of sales teams and sales leaders.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Analyze partnership trends, competitive landscapes, and new partner opportunities to identify areas for differentiation and growth.
- KPI Development and Measurement:
- Establish KPIs to track the effectiveness of partnership enablement initiatives and measure impact on sales performance.
- Global and Local Consistency:
- Partner with regional leaders to ensure global consistency in partnership enablement while addressing local market needs.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously refine and optimize partnership enablement strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
What we look for:
- Experience:
- 5+ years in sales enablement, partnership management, or related roles, preferably with a focus on Cloud and technology partnerships in a global, enterprise-level organization.
- Track Record:
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and scaling successful enablement programs that drive sales and partnership growth.
- Execution Under Pressure:
- Ability to build strategy and execute simultaneously under tight deadlines and high expectations.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
- Communication:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Executive Presence:
- Demonstrated executive presence and comfort working with senior leadership.
- Technical Acumen:
- Experience with data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Databricks’ products and services is a plus.

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
