The Challenge

In the role of a Payments and Fraud Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously analyse customer accounts, effectively combat fraudulent activities, and proactively mitigate fraud trends through continuous evaluation of customer accounts. With Betsson Group operating an impressive portfolio of 17 distinct brands, you will be entrusted with processing payments for our esteemed clientele across these diverse range. Your unwavering commitment to promptly and professionally address any transaction-related issues that may arise is crucial in maintaining our clients' trust. As a member of our tight-knit Payments and Fraud team, you will have the unique advantage of handling a wide array of tasks and assuming greater responsibilities within this dynamic role.

You will:

  • Process payments for BML Group clients, along with any issues that arise from these transactions in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Provide an enhanced customer experience service by swiftly and safely processing customer's withdrawals
  • Ensure fraudulent transactions or activity are spotted and handled swiftly in order to minimize losses and mitigate repercussions.
  • Assess and escalate cases accordingly to the responsible departments.
  • Use acquired skills to research and discover/solve fraud cases involving, but not limited to Credit card fraud, Bank Fraud, Identity theft and Phishing. 
  • Work together with Betsson Technologies and other departments in order to continuously improve internal systems and enhanced capabilities, throughout. 
  • Work with other areas of the department professionally and efficiently.

The role is shift based (Monday to Sunday). It is important that you are able to work night shifts on weekends and public holidays.

You're good at:
  • Strong foundation and familiarity with the iGaming industry
  • Analytical mindset and genuine interest in fraud detection
  • Self-driven and able to work independently, taking initiative when necessary
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Collaborative and effective team player
Shifts:

The shift schedule for this position is as follows:

  • Working days: Monday to Sunday
  • Work pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off
  • Shift timing: 00:00 to 09:00 AM

This position is based in St. Julians, Malta.
