We are seeking an experienced Payroll Operations Lead to join our Shared Services team in Mumbai. This role will be responsible for managing Payroll operations, including support for Workday and Safeguard systems, as well as overseeing Benefits Administration and Workplace pension scheme for our UK employees.

✅Responsibilities and Duties   

Payroll Operations Management:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for UK employees in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather and validate payroll data.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

 

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and other employee benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Liaise with insurance providers and vendors for benefits plan administration.

 

Pension Administration:

  • Manage the workplace pension program for UK employees, including enrolment, contributions, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions and plan administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the workplace pension program.

 

Workday and Safeguard Support:

  • Utilize Workday and Safeguard systems for payroll processing, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Maintain and update employee records in these systems.
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and liaise with IT support as needed.

 

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure all payroll and benefits-related processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Generate regular reports for management and government agencies, as required.
  • Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

 

✅Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong expertise in using Workday and Safeguard systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK and Europe payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • HR and Payroll certifications (e.g., CPP, FPC) would be a plus.
