Role expectations and responsibilitiesOur People team is at the heart of our business, whether it’s hiring amazing people, helping them develop or maintain great working spaces. We’ve encountered numerous challenges the past years and we are rebuilding our Team.
This is a great role for an experienced Generalist who wants to make an impact working as an integral part of the People team and reporting directly to the Head of department. You will be supporting senior leaders and colleagues in shaping and delivering solutions according to their needs and priorities. This role will support projects in all areas of the department including talent, DEI, L&D, Culture, Engagement etc.
We are looking for someone excited about challenges and not scared to get their hands dirty. To succeed in this role you must be proactive, tech-savvy, agile, comfortable in the unknown and solution oriented.
Responsibilities:- Manage our employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding while providing the best employee experience
- Proactive, you will run engagement, attraction, recognition and development initiatives within the business making sure our 3 locations are constantly covered
- Culture Champion: You’ll design and implement initiatives that strengthen our company culture in line with our mission
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Support Head of people in strategic projects and HR analytics
- Handling “complex” HR situations from time to time
- You’ll partner with different department to ensure a great employee experience across the entire cycle
- Work hand in hand with the HR coordinator to update and implement processes and procedures
- Maintain HR best practices in the company
- Have 5+ years of generalist experience, ideally you’ve had People/HR Manager experience within a fast-growing, Digital/Technology, FinTech or Start-Up
- Project management skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to balance between independently managed projects and collaborative ones
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Able to deliver bad and good news as well as influencing SLT
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve, develop and automate
- Analytical, tech-savvy, problem solving, business acumen and decision making skills
- Organised, able to deliver at pace with high attention to detail
