About the job

This position is needed to fuel insights and strategic decisions that drive measurable growth across Twilio websites and core products. You will be responsible for analytics across our global websites to provide a deeper understanding of the behavior and interests of web visitors, prospects, and customers worldwide. You will build and implement a robust web measurement framework while managing our GA4 implementation to ensure stakeholders can continually track the impact of their launches, optimizations, A/B tests, personalized experiences, and design decisions. You will be part of a highly visible Strategy & Analytics team that serves as a trusted advisor to leadership for measurement, forensics, and insights across the entire customer journey.  Collaborate with great minds across Web, Marketing, Product, Growth Engineering, Corporate Communications, and Sales to implement end-to-end web analytics solutions that have direct impact on Twilio’s growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and implement a robust web measurement framework across Twilio’s global websites
  • Monitor and analyze website performance to ensure everything is functioning as expected
  • Lead and manage our global Google Analytics 4 implementation 
  • Develop mechanisms for scalable, uniform data capture through tag management platforms in collaboration with Web Engineering
  • Generate insights and opportunities based on data to improve site performance and user experience
  • Build dashboards, reports, and forecasts to help stakeholders understand historical and projected website performance
  • Monitor the health of our website and communicate storylines at a weekly cadence to leadership
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Build a robust web analytics ecosystem to empower stakeholders to leverage web data based on your documentation, training, video guides, office hours, and more

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, marketing, business, or another quantitative field
  • Deep technical expertise as it pertains to web analytics architecture, data capture, and advanced analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor, assess, and act upon large volumes of data to craft data-driven strategies
  • Ability to translate complex technical details into understandable concepts for stakeholders and non-technical audiences
  • Experience monitoring and interpreting key performance as it pertains to website traffic, engagement, user experience, and conversions
  • Familiarity implementing and managing Google Analytics
  • Experience working as an analytics partner to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired:

  • Deep familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and CDPs
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Data Studio, etc
  • Experience with optimization tools such as Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc
  • Ability to oversee and guide A/B testing methodologies for appropriate measurement
  • Proven ability to collaborate with leadership across marketing, analytics, and business stakeholders

Location

This role will be remote in the United States. Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $132,320 - $165,400.

  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $140,080 - $175,100.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $155,600 - $194,500.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
