The partnerships team is responsible for building a global, best in class, partner ecosystem that makes our customers successful and impacts revenue growth.

About The Role

In this role, you will lead the execution and management of robust partner programs that enable MongoDB to better go to market in harmony with our partners. 

Like MongoDB, the role will evolve over time and you can expect to stay stimulated with new opportunities, but your two immediate missions will be to:

  • Develop and manage a large, crossfunctional, first of its kind program that will enable MongoDB, in collaboration with industry leading partners, to better serve the complete set of needs of enterprises building GenAI applications. In this program, you will work closely with Product Management to understand the customer problems we need to solve and the market leading partners who can collaborate with MongoDB to solve these problems. Then, you will manage a major crossfunctional initiative spanning Professional Services, Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, etc. to create a coordinated go to market approach with partners to win customers togethers. As this program scales, you will develop a centralized structure and process through which we manage all partner integrated deals
  • Develop, implement, and scale a marketplace offering to improve how MongoDB monetizes the above referenced and similar joint solutions and to enable 3rd party partners to better sell to MongoDB’s 50,000 enterprise customers
  • In both of these missions, you will successfully balance the need to execute quickly in a rapidly evolving and competitive  GenAI market while building longterm structures and programs to enable mutually beneficial and durable growth for our business and our partners.

    This role will be based remotely in the United States. 

    Candidate Profile:
    • 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, product management, or program management is required. You'll have a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical initiatives and projects from start to finish, with demonstrable examples
    • Proven program management skills are essential.  You'll build and execute programs that ensure an excellent partner experience throughout the entire partnership lifecycle
    • A self-starter with a collaborative spirit is ideal.  You'll be energetic, solution-oriented, and adept at working effectively in both team and independent settings
    • Experience in directing cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve project deliverables is necessary
    • Technical understanding is critical. You'll possess relevant knowledge of application development, including how developers leverage AI/ML tools to build modern applications
    • Strong organizational skills are a must. You can manage complex initiatives from conception to completion with meticulous attention to detail
    • Problem-solving proficiency is key. You'll be skilled at breaking down complex problems into manageable steps to drive solutions systematically
    • Strategic thinking is crucial.  You can effectively analyze trade-offs and prioritize outcomes with a balanced approach
    • Fast learner with subject matter expertise potential: You can quickly grasp new concepts and establish yourself as a credible resource.  High self-awareness and emotional intelligence are valued
    • Independent and results-driven: You're motivated to progress initiatives autonomously within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  You can effectively connect with partners and internal stakeholders, influencing them with your clear and compelling message

    MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

    MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$129,600—$194,400 USD
