We are seeking a hardworking, passionate, and analytical Principal UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and optimization of our marketing web and landing pages to enhance the user experience and drive higher conversion rates. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work closely with our growth and product marketing teams to continually improve how users experience the logged out vimeo experience.

*Please note, we are looking for candidates based on the East Coast*

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design and optimization of web and landing pages across mobile and desktop to create a best-in-class user experience that exceeds conversion benchmarks
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs. 
  • Partner with growth and product marketing teams to understand the needs of our customer.
  • Lead and develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and meet accessibility standards.
  • Analyze user feedback and data to iterate on designs and optimize the user journey.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, particularly within the SaaS sector.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in UX design, specifically within enterprise SaaS businesses.
  • Proven track record of designing and optimizing web and landing pages with a focus on user experience and conversion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process, user research, and design solutions.
  • Experience with designing and optimizing conversion funnels to improve user acquisition and retention.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better collaborate with developers.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and their impact on UX design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as, Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to design.

(Optional) Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed): 

  • Experience working on a video SaaS businesses and understanding how video can work with high converting pages.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other experimentation methods. 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $135,000.00 to $205,500.00

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
