Please note that we are an in-office company, which means the expectation is that you would come in to your Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.
About the role
The Procurement Coordinator will work directly with our hardware team on the International/Domestic purchasing, buildout, testing, maintenance, and improving our utilization rate of the fleet. You will work directly with our hardware engineers, operators, and safety drivers across our offices.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Manage an inventory system for all vehicle components and lab supplies
- Verify build of material “BOM” accuracy to make sure all information has been imported properly
- Work with DRI/Responsible Engineers on IQC of incoming inventory components
- Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
- Purchasing of goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships
- Conduct research for new components and suppliers
- Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
- Work with finance to set up ERP, manage purchase order, and payments with suppliers
- Support finance department on asset management of all hardware valued at 3k and above
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships along with assessment and evaluation to contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Receive goods and services along with verification against purchase orders
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks on a daily basis from local shipment to international
- Work closely with shop managers to identify needs from facilities
We're looking for someone who has:
- Ability to communicate and comprehend safety-critical information in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability carry 50lbs, bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to store, organize, inventory vehicle hardware
