The role

From day one you will manage Ingredients purchase orders to our suppliers, working in alignment with Category managers, while engaging closely with our other Operations departments, such as Production, Quality and Logistics to build the best meal kit experience in the market. You will report into our Procurement Manager and will benefit from the experience from the other buyer in the Procurement Team

We seek candidates that will bring an analytical, structured and proactive way of working, focused on delivering results in a high-paced environment. Our ideal applicant is hands-on, problem solver, loves to make decisions based on data, likes the food/retail industry, and is hungry to take on continuous improvement challenges.

What you’ll do
  • Manage the daily supply and inventory of our ingredients to ensure our customers receive high-quality ingredients on time
  • Ensure inbound shipments are received on time, in the exact quantity and quality
  • Manage operational relationships with existing network of suppliers on a daily basis and assist category managers in developing strong relationships with them
  • Analyze purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information, purchasing procedures and identify any discrepancies, etc 
  • Be a liaison between procurement and the warehouse/production teams, building strong communication channels for quick resolutions of potential issues
What you’ll bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field
  • Good communication skills,  ability to explain complex concepts and build healthy stakeholder relationships
  • Customer-centricity and commitment to meeting customer needs with a proactive approach
  • Detail-orientation, data-drivenness, and ability to multitask under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
  • High adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite, specifically Google Sheets
  • English and Italian proficiency
  • Availability to work three days per week from 7.30am to 4.30pm and possible paid availability outside standard hours
