About the job

This position is needed to lead the development and launch of Twilio’s new Consumer Innovation Product, focusing on expanding Twilio’s platform to simplify the management of business communications for both businesses and consumers. The Product Manager will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the Consumer Innovation Product to ensure they meet the needs of consumers and businesses while addressing regulatory compliance and data privacy concerns.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver a seamless and efficient user experience.
  • Lead the development of the Product, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that align with Twilio’s mission to empower businesses and consumers.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the product meets their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Be the advocate for the consumer’s privacy and preference management within Twilio.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with experience in communication platforms, data privacy, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of CPaaS and CDP technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex products on time.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in AdTech.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to communications and data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Location

This role will be based in [City, Country] or remote.

Approximately 30% travel is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $149,440 - $186,800.
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $158,240 - $197,800.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $175,840 - $219,800.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
